Xin Zhang

I began my research career in the 2010s at Shandong University, working in Graph Theory. My early research focused on the cycles-packing problems of graphs and now my main research interests focus on graph coloring problems. Since 2012, in which year I got the PH.D. degree from School of Mathematics, Shandong University under the supervision of Prof. Guizhen Liu and Prof. Jian-Liang Wu, I am working for School of Mathematics and Statistics, Xidian University as a researcher. I was awarded the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award of Shandong Province and the Science and Technology Award of Universities of Shaanxi Province in 2013. From August 2019 to August 2020, I was visting IBS Discrete Mathematics Group (South Korea) as a visiting researcher.  I am a member of the board of directors of Special Interest Group in Graph Theory & Combinatorics from the Operations Research Society of China, and a commissary of CSIAM Activity Group on Graph Theory and Combinatorics with Applications. My recent research is mainly supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Natural Science Basic Research Plan in Shaanxi Province of China.
