Wentao is currently a graduate student in Materials Science and Engineering at Michigan State University, supervised by Dr. Yilin Zhang. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from China Pharmaceutical University. His research focuses on developing biopolymer based nano-delivery in plants, nanoplastics accumulation in plants, and nanomaterial–plant interactions.
AUSTIN MALBURG
Austin Malburg is an undergraduate student studying Chemical Engineering at Michigan State University. Currently, he is investigating the barrier properties of polymers derived from upgraded keratin. He will also be researching seed coatings composed of bacteria and Metal Phenolic Networks (MPN's). In his free time, he enjoys fishing, traveling, driving race cars, and card games. He is looking forward to applying classroom concepts to real-world scenarios while gaining hands-on experience.
