My Position: 60 people from different ethnicities living in Turkey were accepted to this program. I participated in seminars, webinars, and interactive activities, then developed a "Teamwork Science and Technology Festival"  project for 2 months.

Developed Skillset: After attending for a few weeks, I developed an academic perspective to understand the refugee crisis around the world. We received training on campaign management, budget creation, social leadership, social entrepreneurship, effective public speaking, discrimination, and compliance from expert civil society managers and the best scholars in the field. 

Experiences:  We got to present our project to the general coordinator of an association that works for the refugee crisis in the whole country, a team of the International Migration Program, and all other participants in the association's headquarters. I improved my abilities to better present and "sell" the ideas in the project so we can make them real by receiving funding. My team's project ranked among the first three projects.
