Ezan Vakti — Privacy Policy

Ezan Vakti does not require an account and does not sell personal information. The application does not contain advertising SDKs or behavioural analytics SDKs.
## Location
With your permission, the app may access your device location to calculate prayer times, show the Qibla direction and display the distance to the Kaaba. You can instead choose a city manually.
When online prayer times are requested, latitude and longitude may be sent to Aladhan (`api.aladhan.com`) to obtain timing data. This request uses HTTPS. Location data is also cached locally on the device to make the app more useful offline. The app developer does not operate a user account database or a server that stores your location history.
## Local data
Settings, selected city, prayer-time cache, Quran bookmarks and tasbih counts are stored on your device. You can remove app data from Android settings or uninstall the app.
## Notifications
If you enable notifications, prayer reminders are scheduled on your device. Notification preferences and the selected adhan recording stay on your device.
## Third parties
The online prayer-time function may use Aladhan to retrieve prayer timings. Review its own privacy practices before using that service. Audio recordings and Quran text are bundled with the app; their attribution is documented in `CONTENT_SOURCES.md`.
## Children
The app is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
