ZeroOverZero101 grew up in Los Angeles, developing an interest in public service and politics at an early age. At the age of of 16, he volunteered for the Democratic party, helping the Democrats win the Governorship and sweep the state house. He continued to work in politics, all the while getting his undergraduate degree in Public Policy at Prestigious University, where he graduated at the top of his class. He then worked as an intern for the DNC, assisting party leaders clinch the majority in the House and Senate. He continued to be a member of the DNC until he was tapped for Secretary of the Treasury in President GuiltyAir's first term.
As Secretary of the Treasury, he oversaw a booming economy and worked with the President on creating a budget fair for all Americans. He also issued orders replacing Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill with Harriett Tubman and Rosa Parks and placed Susan B. Anthony on the back of the $10 bill. In addition he abolished the penny, saving taxpayers millions.
Zero's term as Secretary ended early when he ran for Governor of Sierra. Incumbent Governor AnswerMeNow1 decided not to run for re-election. In what was deemed a toss-up by many, ZeroOverZero101 was able to beat far-right candidate Representative PresentSale by several million votes. As Governor, he campaigned on passing universal healthcare, making immigration easier, reducing housing prices and homelessness, and making education access easier and more affordable.
During his term as Governor, he was able to successfully accomplish all of the above. As Governor, Zero was able to pass Universal Healthcare, Universal broadband internet coverage, legalized prostitution, raised teacher’s salaries, passed Universal Pre-K, passed tuition-free college in the state, and legalized secondary-strike action and fought for unions. He expanded voting rights across the state and spearheaded new solutions to fighting the opioid epidemic. He banned private prisons, mandatory minimums, three-strikes laws, and forced the state to focus on rehabilitation instead of punishment for Sierran prisoners. Zero passed an executive order automatically giving a pardon to those convicted of drug misdemeanors and felonies and used his executive authority to outline new protections for LGBTQ+ students in schools. As Governor, Zero is recognized as one of the most progressive and accomplished Governors of his time, and is seen by many as a role model who ought to be emulated.
After his first term, Zero believed he had accomplished all he had sought out to do, and decided to serve as the Lt. Governor of his successor, Zairn. As Lt. Governor, Zero continued his work in the state, fighting for progressive values and working closely with Governor Zairn on what was best for the state. Governor Zairn later resigned for personal reasons, causing Zero to be sworn in for a second term as Governor, where he continues to make progress in the state and work across the aisle for the good of the state.
