Two Consecutive Years of Awards

At noon on March 28, ZENSHIN's 2026 robot "HANIWA," which had been prepared since January, finally took off from Haneda Airport. After a 14-hour flight via Dallas, USA, we landed at Tulsa International Airport in Oklahoma.

However, without resting after the journey, the tech team immediately began reassembling the disassembled robot upon arriving at our Airbnb in Tulsa, while the admin team contacted local teams - each member doing what they could.

Starting tomorrow, we will visit the workshop of a local Tulsa team to fix any missing parts on our robot and head into the competition ready.

This is Day 2 of our activities in preparation for the FRC Tulsa Regional.

Today we made adjustments while actually operating the robot, confirming all movements from driving to ball collection and launching. We were getting better results, feeling like "we might just be able to do this...?!," but there are still challenges ahead in terms of scoring precision.

Receiving advice from local team members, we refined our adjustments bit by bit, getting closer to completion. There was also some shopping time in between, which was a nice refresh.

The actual competition is just around the corner. We will see it through to the very end.

Day 3 of our on-site activities in Tulsa for the FRC Tulsa Regional.

With the competition drawing near, today we made further adjustments while actually running the robot, focusing more on real match conditions. Basic movements have stabilized, but there are still issues with repeatability and precision when it comes to scoring directly.

With the competition literally tomorrow, the pressure is on - but everyone is focused and working hard. Tomorrow we take on the qualifying rounds. We'll give it everything we have.

Day 4 of our on-site activities for the FRC Tulsa Regional.

Today, HANIWA finally completed a test run on half of the actual field, and we confirmed it moved successfully!

As we watched the robot move and kept making adjustments, a mix of excitement and tension spread through the entire team - it was an intense and emotional moment.

One day until the competition. The moment has finally come.

All the effort and time we've poured in for the past year - we'll put it all on that stage.

And today, the Tulsa qualifying rounds finally begin!

All the time we've spent building up to this, the trial and error, the worries, and every small victory - they all connect to this moment.

Day 6 of our on-site activities for the FRC Tulsa Regional. The practice matches have finally started!!!

Compared to move-in day yesterday, the venue was buzzing with so much more energy.

Also, talking with local teams for the first time in a different language and environment was incredibly nerve-wracking.

But the FRC community is warm and welcoming - everyone interacted with us with smiles, which helped ease our nerves.

HANIWA's performance in the practice matches was not without problems... but the team made quick decisions and continued adjustments right up until the qualifying matches.

The moment has finally come. Qualifying matches. Today we had 7 matches total.

But things didn't go as planned. The swerve mechanism wasn't working well, and we only managed to win 2 matches.

Regret, frustration - all of it left us with a lot of feelings as the day ended.

Still, we won't leave with our heads down.

Tomorrow are the eliminations. Win or lose, we'll bring everything we have - that's all we can do.

We competed in our first FRC competition, and the qualifying matches have all concluded.

The final result was 2 wins and 8 losses.

The outcome left us with more feelings than we could put into words.

We didn't win any awards, and with this result, we were unfortunately eliminated from advancing to the World Championship.

However - the experience of competing on a stage with the world's top teams was truly invaluable. We received warm words and smiles from teams around the world, and had experiences that would have been impossible staying in Japan.

We will take everything we felt and learned here, and use it as fuel to grow stronger.

Today, we disassembled the robot in preparation for tomorrow's departure. Carefully taking apart the robot piece by piece, we reflected on every moment of trial and error and the competition, gently and deliberately removing each part.

With the robot packed away and the competition behind us, the Oklahoma trip is coming to an end.

We came as rookies, took on the world, and returned having gained something irreplaceable.

We'll be back. Even stronger than before.

We departed early from Tulsa, America, and successfully arrived at Haneda Airport in Japan via Dallas. The long journey was far from easy, but with a sense of accomplishment in each of our hearts, the entire team was able to return home in high spirits.

When we arrived at Haneda Airport, the families and friends of members were there to welcome us warmly. The moment we saw that scene, the tension we had been holding finally released, and we were overwhelmed by an indescribable sense of relief and joy.

The Oklahoma trip has truly come to an end.
