## Introduction
ZenTab ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Chrome extension handles your information.
## Data Collection and Usage
### 1. Personal Information
**We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) to our servers.**
* **User Name:** If you enter your name for the greeting feature, it is stored locally on your device using your browser's `localStorage`. We do not have access to this data.
### 2. Location Data
* **Usage:** ZenTab requests access to your location solely to provide local weather updates.
* **Processing:** If you grant permission, your latitude and longitude are sent directly from your browser to the Open-Meteo API (`api.open-meteo.com`) and BigDataCloud API (`api.bigdatacloud.net`) to fetch weather and city name information.
* **Storage:** We do not store your location history. Your current coordinates are cached locally on your device for a short period to reduce API calls.
* **Third Parties:** Your location data is processed by Open-Meteo and BigDataCloud strictly for the purpose of delivering weather data.
### 3. User Data (Tasks, Notes, Links)
* All data you enter into the To-Do list, Notepad, or Quick Links is stored locally on your device (in `localStorage`).
* This data never leaves your browser and is not synced to any external servers operated by us.
### 4. Third-Party Services
* **Open-Meteo:** Used for weather data.
* **BigDataCloud:** Used for reverse geocoding (finding your city name).
* **Google Fonts:** Used to display typography.
## Data Security
Since all your data is stored locally on your device, it is protected by your browser's security protocols. We do not maintain a database of user information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
