This Privacy Policy describes how Full Page Screen Capture ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use our Chrome browser extension.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our core philosophy is simple: We do not collect, store, or share your data.
We do not collect any personal information about you. We do not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any contact details (such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers) to use the extension.
We do not track your browsing history, the websites you visit, or your interaction with the extension. We do not use any third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) within the extension.
The primary function of our extension is to capture screenshots of the webpages you visit.
Local Processing: All screen capture processing—scrolling, stitching, and cropping—happens entirely locally within your web browser.
No Cloud Storage: We do not upload your screenshots to any server. Your captured images are stored temporarily in your browser's memory solely for the purpose of generating the final download file.
Download Only: Once the screenshot is generated, it is downloaded directly to your device. We do not keep any copies.
To function correctly, our extension requires specific permissions from your browser. Here is an explanation of why we need them:
activeTab: This permission allows the extension to access the content of the current tab you are viewing only when you click the extension icon. This is necessary to scroll through the page and capture the visible area. We do not have access to other tabs or your browsing history.
scripting: This allows us to inject the code required to scroll the page and stitch the screenshots together.
downloads: This permission is required to save the final image file to your computer.
Since we do not collect any data, we have no data to share. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties.
Our extension is a standalone tool. It does not contain links to third-party websites or services, and it does not display advertisements.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
If you have any questions or suggestions about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us via the support tab on the Chrome Web Store.
