Zennon was featured in Wabash Magazine for his internship. You can find it on pages 31-32 of the online version or pages 61-63 of the print version.
Zennon was the first Wabash student to intern at the Estee Lauder Companies--the second largest cosmetics company in the world. As a finance and strategy intern, his project was to create a PowerBI dashboard to connect and analyze two large datasets: shipments and retail sales.
His final dashboard included several pages, each of which provided a different analysis. You could filter by brand, product, country, retailer, store, and/or time period. The first page showed shipment sales and retail sales, another tracked retailer inventory, and another calculated markup. The dashboard allowed brands to analyze performance and demand for specific products in different markets. At the end of his internship, Zennon presented his dashboard to finance and strategy executives, including the company's CFO.
During the summer between his sophomore and junior year, Zennon was a finance intern for Evidence in Motion--the leading provider of hybrid health care education solutions. There, he utilized his Python skills to automate the data-gathering process from several sources. Then, he helped construct a model with those sources to assess a new field of business. In addition, he assisted different teams with data analysis that helped inform business decisions.
Zennon worked as an ambassador for Wabash throughout his four years there. He oversaw the campus call center, gave tours, and assisted with recruiting projects/events. He consistently received positive feedback from his tours, and scored well in professionalism, communication, and reliability in performance reviews.
