Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 3, 2026 · Last updated: June 3, 2026
The short version
Zenith is designed to run on your device. We do not require an account, we do not operate servers that store your personal information, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers. Your app usage data, focus sessions, goals, and settings stay on your iPhone.
1. Who we are
Zenith (the "App") is developed and published by Saad ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it.
If you have questions about this policy or how the App handles your data, contact us at saad.nexxit@gmail.com.
2. Information the App handles
2.1 Screen Time and app usage data
Zenith uses Apple's Family Controls, DeviceActivity, and ManagedSettings frameworks to read your screen time and to restrict access to apps you choose to limit. This data is provided by iOS and is accessed only on your device. Zenith does not transmit your usage data, selected apps, focus sessions, or app categories to us or to any third party.
2.2 Information stored on your device
The App stores the following information locally on your iPhone, using Apple's standard on-device storage (Core Data and the iOS keychain where relevant):
Your screen time goals, focus preferences, and onboarding answers.
Your selected app limits, blocking schedules, and shielding rules.
Your productivity score, history, and progress over time.
Subscription status and entitlement information returned by Apple.
This information never leaves your device through any system we operate. Deleting the App removes this data from your iPhone.
2.3 Purchases and subscriptions
Subscriptions and one-time purchases in Zenith are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment details, billing address, or Apple ID. Apple provides us with anonymous transaction status (for example, whether a subscription is active or has been refunded) so the App can correctly grant or revoke premium features on your device. Apple's handling of this information is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
2.4 Diagnostic information
If you opt in to share diagnostics with developers via your iOS Settings ("Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share With App Developers"), Apple may send us anonymous crash logs and performance data. This information is provided by Apple, contains no personal identifiers, and is used only to identify and fix bugs. You can disable this at any time in iOS Settings.
3. What we do not collect
We do not require you to create an account or provide your name, email, or phone number to use the App.
We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, calendar, messages, or browsing history.
We do not use third-party advertising networks, advertising identifiers (IDFA), or cross-app tracking.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
4. Permissions the App requests
For the App's core features to work, iOS will ask your permission for the following. You can grant or deny each one, and you can change your choice later in iOS Settings.
Screen Time access (Family Controls): required to read your screen time and apply app limits on your device.
Notifications: optional, used to notify you about focus sessions, goal progress, and limit reminders.
5. Children's privacy
Zenith is rated 4+ and is intended for users of all ages. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. We do not require an account, do not ask for personal details, and do not transmit usage data off your device. If you are a parent or guardian and have questions about your child's use of the App, please contact us.
6. Your rights
Because we do not maintain a database of users or store personal information about you on systems we control, most data-subject requests (access, correction, deletion, portability) can be exercised by you directly on your device:
Access: all data the App holds about you is visible to you in the App itself.
Correction: change your goals, preferences, and limits from within the App.
Deletion: delete the App from your iPhone to remove all locally stored data.
Subscription data: managed by Apple. See Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with applicable data-protection law, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We are happy to help with any request — contact us at saad.nexxit@gmail.com.
7. Data retention
Because the data is stored on your device and not on our servers, you control retention. Uninstalling Zenith permanently removes the data from your iPhone. We retain only the limited communication you send us (for example, support emails) for as long as needed to respond and to comply with applicable law.
8. Security
Zenith relies on iOS platform security for the data stored on your device. This includes device encryption when your iPhone is locked, the iOS sandbox, and (where applicable) the iOS keychain. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, but we follow Apple's recommended practices and keep the App's surface area to the minimum required for it to function.
9. International transfers
Because the App does not transmit your personal data to systems we operate, no international transfer of your data takes place through us. Communications you send us (for example, support emails) may be processed in Morocco, where we are based, and in any country where our email provider operates. By contacting us, you consent to this processing.
10. Third-party services
The App integrates with the following first-party Apple services:
Apple App Store / StoreKit — processes purchases and subscriptions.
Apple Family Controls / DeviceActivity / ManagedSettings — provides screen time and app-limit functionality on your device.
These are governed by Apple's privacy policy, which you can read at apple.com/legal/privacy.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice (such as an in-App notification). Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
