Department of Energy-ran project to integrate AI into research in energy, defense, and economy. It will create one of the most powerful AI platforms in order to advance US technological innovation, utilized by a variety of federal agencies, researchers in academia, and partners in industry.
This October, we had a great opportunity to host visiting scholar and students from Tohoku University, as part of Purdue-Tohoku Partnership, to broaden our views on our projects and improve our international collaborations with other universities.
This August we had the opportunity to host a workshop emphasizing advancing research impact through collaboration, publication, and funding innovation. The workshop aimed to build partnerships with leading scientists, publish influential perspective papers in top journals, and secure joint funding from federal and industrial sources to accelerate the translation of fundamental research into practical applications.Â
