Zen Forest is a focus timer and cyber city builder published on Google Play.

Overview

This policy describes what information the app processes and how it is used.

Data we collect

Focus sessions, streaks, city progress, achievements, and app preferences are stored locally on your device using on-device storage (Hive). We do not operate a user account server and do not collect your name, email address, or contacts.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission, the app schedules local reminders for focus sessions and breaks. Notification content remains on your device.

In-app purchases

Purchases (Zen Forest Pro and cosmetic season packs) are processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles payment and billing records. We receive only purchase confirmation needed to unlock features on your device.

Sharing and sync

Optional share actions use your device's system share sheet. Sync room codes are generated locally; this version does not use a hosted sync backend.

Third-party services

Google Play — in-app billing
Audio playback — device audio APIs via the audioplayers plugin

The app does not include advertising SDKs or third-party analytics trackers.

Children

Zen Forest is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention and deletion

Uninstalling the app removes locally stored progress from your device. Purchase entitlements may be restored via Google Play if you reinstall and use Restore purchases.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the app and on this page. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
