I modified the game files to run at an increased factor. Since there is no flat &quotgame speed&quot parameter in the game, this multiplies or divids a bunch of time & speed related parameters by some factor accordingly.

If there a way to increase ship speed? My biggest complaint about this game and Sunless Seas was that it just felt to slow. I was able to mess with the game's configuration files. I'm wondering if there's a way to do that here

However, I can't tell whether or not going at speed 1 is more fuel-efficient than speed 2. For a given distance, speed 2 means fewer supplies used and less terror accrued, but what about fuel? Does it use more fuel or the same?

Full Power! is a ship ability in Sunless Sea. Full Power! allows the ship to move faster than its normal maximum speed for a short time, at the cost of additional fuel consumption and gaining the status effect Peculiar Noises. This effect has a chance to cause the Fire! event.

Upon pressing F or clicking the flame icon on the bottom of the interface, engine temperature will gradually increase, as though the crew of the ship had stoked the boiler. Over 200 Engine temperature generates additional engine power and consumes more Fuel. Engine temperature will both rise and return to normal in a gradual manner after the current barrel of Fuel is fully consumed, as if the captain had ordered crew to stoke the boiler, rather than toggling between two discrete binary states. To maintain Full Power! speeds, it is necessary to press F or click the flame icon again when engine temperature drops back down, either after depleting the current Fuel barrel or cooling naturally past 200 degrees.

Hmm... you might be right, but your numbers still does not add up. After applying relic it says swiftness gives +99% speed,g so if base is 210, and cap is 400, then you should move with 400 not 348. Additionally, there is visual bug with the numbers because even though the skill shows me +99% on swiftness, after application the boot itself says only +33%. Something is definietely wrong here.

Streaks on your face might seem the most noticeable, and not just because of their prime placement. DHA absorbs quickest into thin skin. So, your joints, the tops of your hands, and the area under your eyes are quite vulnerable to an uneven sunless tan.

Be patient as you buff out self-tanner using a gentle exfoliator. You can also take frequent showers and soaks in the tub to speed up the process of fading those streaks. Self-tanner can be tricky to put on, and it may take some practice to perfect your process.

Masters of the void, Warshades can manipulate dark energy, gravity and matter to blast and dominate their foes. The gravimetric nature of most Umbral Blast powers often slows the targets attack and movement speed.

A much more powerful, yet slower version of Dark Nova Bolt. Dark Nova Blast sends focused negative Nictus energy at a foe. This attack can knock down foes and will leave a targets' attack and movement speed slowed. This power is only available while in Dark Nova Form.

Sends bolts of Nictus dark energy to multiple targets at once within a cone area in front of the caster. Deals moderate negative energy damage to each affected foe and reduces their attack rate and movement speed. This power is only available in Dark Nova Form.

You hurl a blast of Dark Matter that violently explodes on impact, damaging all foes near the target. All affected targets' attack and movement speed are slowed. Some foes may be knocked down. This power is only available in Dark Nova Form.

You tap the primal forces of your Nictus power to create an Essence Draining conduit between a foe and yourself. This will transfer Hit Points from your enemy to you. Foes drained in this manner have their attack and movement speed reduced.

You can hurl Gravimetric fibers to snare your foe. Gravimetric Snare can Immobilize a single target and crush him. The Target's attack rate and movement speed is also slowed, even if he resists the immobilization effect.

Gravitic Emanation sends bolts of Nictus dark energy to multiple targets at once within a cone area in front of the caster. Gravitic Emanation deals only minor negative energy damage to each affected but knocks them back, leaves them disoriented and reduces their attack and movement speed.

You can explode in a tremendous blast of negative energy, sending nearby foes flying. The Quasar deals massive damage to all nearby foes, although the damage does vary. Affected foes will be knocked down and their attack and movement speed will be slowed. Activating this power leaves you drained of Endurance, and unable to recover any Endurance for a while.

A much more powerful, yet slower version of Shadow Bolt. Shadow Blast sends focused Negative Nictus energy at a foe. This attack can knock down foes and will leave the targets attack and movement speed slowed.

2. Place your machine on a medium speed to high speed

3. Place 50mls of Black Magic 2 Hour Dark Tan into the cup of your spray gun, if you are using the Black Magic Tan Deluxe Spray Gun you will need to use approx. 200mls of tanning solution due to the size of the spray gun cup. Excess solution can be poured straight back into the bottle after use.

4. Your spray gun should be set to ensure a light, even mist falls on the skin. If the gun is up too high you are wasting tanning solution and the clients tan could overdevelop.

5. Apply two light even coats of Black Magic 2 Hour Dark Tan solution for a flawless dark tan.

With quality products (and by following this advice), you can enjoy your faux tan for at least a good week. When the time comes to remove it, Padill recommends dry brushing first, then using an exfoliant in the shower to speed up the fading process.

And remember: Not all sunless self-tanners are created equal. Choose a solution that offers a variety of shades and products, made with premium ingredients, and backed by millions of beautiful sunless tans.

1. Exfoliation

The longevity of a sunless tan largely depends on how and when you exfoliate your skin. Exfoliation banishes dead skin cells and removes old residues. For best results, exfoliate 24 to 48 hours before tanning. Then, maintain your tan by performing a light scrub every three days afterward. Avoid vigorous exfoliation, which will rub away your tanned skin cells.

2. Drying

Be sure to let your body thoroughly dry after applying a sunless tanning product. Otherwise, the color will fade quickly or become blotchy. Remain patient and leave plenty of extra time for drying. Electric fans can speed up the drying process.

5. Sweat

Like water, perspiration can cause spray tans to disappear rapidly. For this reason, spray tans usually deteriorate faster in sweaty areas of the body, like the legs, breasts, and underarms. During the first few hours after you apply a sunless tan, avoid strenuous exercise. Baby powder may help prevent the color from fading.

Take a long hot bath and allow the warmth of the water to lighten your fake tan. In fact, you can speed up this process by applying olive oil to your skin 15 minutes beforehand and then soaking in the tub.

The active ingredient in sunless tanners is the compound dihydroxyacetone (DHA). DHA is approved by the Food and Drug Administration for use in externally applied cosmetics intended to impart color to the skin. A three-carbon sugar, DHA reacts with amino groups in the proteins of the top layer of the skin, called the stratum corneum (SC). The first step is known as the Maillard reaction, the same process that leads to the caramelization of sugars and the browning of bread. But the complete details of the subsequent reactions are still not fully worked out. Sunless tans are not exactly the same color as natural tans and do not absorb ultraviolet light in the range that causes sunburn. They therefore do not protect against sunburn. The products of sunless tanning also absorb a little less red light than natural skin pigments do and may lead to orange coloration in some cases. This was particularly true of earlier formulations, hence the orange appearance of "quick tans" in the past. Modern products contain lower DHA concentrations, leading to a "tan" that is more natural looking, albeit not as dark. Some products also contain the natural sugar erythrulose, which adds slightly more red for a more natural color.Sunless tanners are not without drawbacks. Failure to apply the product evenly can lead to inconsistent color. And some users experience an odor that develops during the tanning process. Sometimes described as "starchy," it is a sign that the product is working. But because the odor actually changes during the development of the tan, it is difficult to mask with fragrances.Sunless tans are not permanent because only the SC is stained and we continually shed this layer of the skin through the process of exfoliation. Typically it takes about three weeks for the SC to "turn over" completely. Use of exfoliating scrubs or exfoliating products such as alpha- or beta-hydroxy acids can speed the exfoliation process and thereby shorten the duration of a sunless tan. Sunless tans provide an alternative to sun exposure and tanning booths. They are likely to increase in popularity as we learn even more about the damaging effects of ultraviolet light on skin.
