Honoring the Life of Bernadette Monelle
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved mother, Bernadette Monelle, a New York native born in Saint Lucia. At 64 years old, she left us after battling multiple strokes over the past year in a nursing home. Bernadette dedicated her life to caring for others as a home health aide, always putting the needs of her patients, family, and friends before her own. As a pillar of the community, she was the neighborhood mom, aunt, mentor, and friend to many.
Her unexpected passing has left our family not only in deep sorrow but also struggling to cover the costs of some of her funeral services. In this difficult time, we are reaching out to our community, loved ones, and anyone who knew Bernadette’s kindness and generosity. Any donation, no matter the amount, will help us give her the dignified and loving farewell she deserves.
We are truly grateful for your prayers, support, and contributions as we honor Bernadette’s memory. Thank you for standing with us during this heartbreaking time.
We appreciate you
