"One of the best TAs I have had in my 4 years at UCR. Super helpful and did the most she could to prepare us for exams and homework assignments. Can tell she did a lot to prepare for class, and she just really cared about our well being. Even though the discussion is a 50 minute session, she always used the time very wisely so I never felt like I left discussion having wasted my time in discussion. Her notes were truly the best, sometimes felt like her notes gave more information that the 3 hour lecture we had on Fridays. Amazing! Thank you so much for everything!"
"Zeliha has been an incredible TA for my microeconomics class this quarter. Her teaching style is very clear and she takes time to ensure that we have a foundational understanding of all previous concepts before moving onto more complex materials. She challenges us to improve every week and makes sure to address any questions and confusions we have. I felt I have not only gathered a better understanding of microeconomics thanks to Zeliha but I also feel more confident doing calculus. Zeliha has been very sweet and kind to me from day one, and I will miss being in her discussions every monday."

"TA Zeliha Tunc is really awesome, super, super awesome! She is very nice and friendly. I really enjoy this class, and a big reason is because the TA helped me solve some of my confusion. Her notes are very clear and helpful, and they helped me get through the exams. The TA’s board notes are great—she use simple language to explain and summarize the key points of each chapter. She also helped us with issues like submitting homework or missing the due date with the first assignment. I really like the TA Zeliha Tunc, truly from the bottom of my heart. It’s hard for me to put it into words, but I mean it!"

"Ms. Tunc was an amazing TA. She also came to class prepared and provided a well thought out lesson plan that was easy to follow along. She helped clear out uncertainties in tough topics taught by the professor. She was always willing to provide help for her students and would go above and beyond to help us succeed. She did a great job of preparing us for quizzes and especially the discussion assignments. She also encouraged me class and I do to our best and she clearly wanted everyone to succeed which is something I do not always see from other TAs. They take the time to break down difficult concepts into smaller steps and patiently walk students though practice problems to ensure mastery. Every class I have taken with this TA, I have received a 95+ grade in the course thanks to the immensely helpful discussion sessions hosted by them. I wish I could have them as my TA in all of my classes, I really like their teaching style and I have definitely grown as an economics student by attending their classes."

"Zeliha is very thorough in her instruction, and is very attentive in taking the time to make sure the students understand the material presented. The graphs were a bit complex and had a lot of nuance, but Zeliha made it much easier to understand the graphical interpretation and the breakdown of the graphical components. She is also very patient and offers help, and I never felt bad about making mistakes or asking stupid questions. Overall, very glad to have had her as my TA for Econ 3."

She was very flexible with my schedule. I would not have succeeded in this course without her help. She has a strong grasp of the material and is very effective in explaining the concepts. She offered test taking strategies and helped me feel confident going into the exams. I really hope she TA’s another one of my classes. I got really lucky to have such a great TA!! I feel like a lot of students are missing out by not having her as a TA. I wish she could TA all my econ courses because I know that I would succeed in any class with her help. For any concepts that I was confused on she was able to explain them to me so quickly and clear up any confusion or doubt. She was very clear on all of the steps and simplified some complex material to make it easier to understand."
