NURSING PATH

"My nursing career has been a journey. I didn't go back to school for nursing until my late thirties. I was looking for a more rewarding career that fed my soul, not just my pocketbook.

Each area of nursing I worked in, told me something more about myself. I intentionally tried a little of every type of nursing, in order to find the right path. In my many nursing positions, I learned to use humor, empathy, education, and nurture to soothe patients and their families during difficult times.

My journey, eventually, led me to the decision to become a Nurse Practitioner; where I felt I could affect the most change and do the most good.

I am grateful for the experiences that lead me here; and, hope to fulfill my potentional of helping thousands more patients acquire quality of life and good health."
