This Privacy Policy explains how Zee Pdf Editor (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the application.
Zee Pdf Editor is a PDF and image tools app. It is designed to process files on your device. We do not operate user accounts and we do not run a cloud service for your documents.
The App does not collect, upload, or sell:
Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
Account or login details
Precise or approximate location
Contacts, call logs, or SMS
Advertising identifiers
Analytics, crash, or usage data sent to us
Payment or financial information
The App does not include ads, analytics SDKs, or social-login SDKs.
The App may store the following locally on your device:
Theme preference (system, light, or dark)
Recently used tools (for the Recent tab)
Temporary cache files created while converting, compressing, merging, or exporting files
This information stays on the device and is not transmitted to us.
When you use a feature, you may select images, PDFs, or other documents through the Android Photo Picker or Storage Access Framework.
The App reads only the files you explicitly select. It does not scan your storage, request “All files access”, or access files in the background.
Processed files are saved only when you choose a destination with the system save dialog, or when you share/open a file with another app that you select.
Local data and selected files are used only to:
Provide PDF and image tools
Remember your theme and recently used tools
Let you open or share a file you just created
We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or marketing.
The App is designed to work without broad storage permissions.
It uses the Photo Picker, Storage Access Framework, and FileProvider. It does not request All files access, internet, camera, microphone, location, contacts, or SMS.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
A file may leave the App only if you save it, open it in another app, or share it. Those other apps have their own privacy policies.
This version does not require an internet connection and does not send your files or usage data to our servers.
Theme and recent-tool history remain until you clear App data or uninstall. Files you saved stay in the location you chose and are not removed by uninstall.
The App is a general productivity tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Files are processed on your device using Android Photo Picker, Storage Access Framework, and FileProvider. No storage method is completely secure.
You can decline to select a file, clear App data, uninstall the App, and use Android’s file-picker controls.
We may update this policy if features or data practices change. The new effective date will be posted.
