Privacy Policy for ZeePDF Editor

This policy describes how ZeePDF Editor (package com.zeepdfeditorrss.app) handles information on your device. The app edits PDFs and images locally. It has no internet permission and does not send your files, passwords, or usage to a developer server.
Information stored on your device
When you open or create a file, the app keeps a recent-files list in its private storage. Each entry can include the file name, a local path or the content address you granted, the file type, and the file size. That list does not include the contents of the document.
The app also stores your theme choice (light, dark, or system) in private app storage.
While you edit, the app makes working copies in its private cache and saves finished files in its private output folder until you save them elsewhere, share them, or delete them. Passwords you type are used only in that session to open, lock, or unlock a PDF. A password you set is written into that PDF. The app does not keep a password account or a stored password list.
Files you choose
You pick files through the system file picker. The app reads only the files you select. It does not request broad access to your device storage. When you save, the system file picker writes the result to the location you choose. When you share or open a result in another app, Android grants that app temporary access to that file.
Sharing with others
The app does not upload documents. A file leaves the app only when you use Save, Share, or Open and choose another app or location.
Android backup
The app allows Android backup. If you have device backup turned on, Android may include the app’s private data, such as the recent-files list, theme setting, and files still stored inside the app. That backup is controlled by your Google account and device settings, not by ZeePDF Editor.
What this app does not do
ZeePDF Editor does not use accounts, analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking. It does not sell personal information. It does not collect contacts, location, photos beyond files you select, or device identifiers for the developer.
Children
ZeePDF Editor is a general file utility and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated text will be published with a new effective date.
