The most challenging part of this project wasn't making the project, but rather choosing the right images, going through the process of trial and error of what goes best with the theme, etc.
There aren't many effects in use but one thing that has been done repeatedly is a mask being added to the reflections of objects so they can fade out with the use of the gradient tool. There is a lot more done to this image for it to be the way it is, but the main ones are masking, merging, and lastly, lots of duplication.
Something that kind of sticks out when looking at this picture, is how the person doesn't blend in how it should. Which is why that's the thing I'd be most interested in changing about this design. There is a lot more that can be done, but for this being my 3rd project ever, it's decent!

The words "Protect", "Respect", and "Defeat" are made up of a portrait of a wolf which blends in with the rest of the quote to deliver the message better.
There weren't many challenges as far as the effects and just making the project overall goes.

My favorite part of this project was coming up with the idea. The whole series revolves around the idea of time travel and that's why the three people in this poster are actually one character and that to me was the most exciting part.
The most challenging part, design-wise was getting their heads to fit in the little circle sections while we can't see anything from their neck and below, but their heads and hair overlap.
If I could do this again, I'd put the younger guy at the top, the older guy at the left, and the other guy on the left. Solely because in the series we see the young Jonas more than the other versions of himself and that's why his place would've been better at the top which would symbolize his presence and importance in the series.

This project consisted of 4 promotional items: Invitation, Logo, Social media post, and a custom item. In total, approximately 10 hours have been spent on these designs as a whole. There were some difficulties when it came to physically or rather in this case, digitally making what was in my mind. But even in the process of trial and error, I had so much fun!
The "On The Line" restaurant isn't real. Which makes this whole project basically a practice and a showcase of my work. But if it was real, the targeted audience would be everyone. Different ages, genders, ethnicities, literally everyone. That's why the designs aren't too detailed but when looking at the items such as the social media post, there are some little details that spice up the whole look and are intended for a younger audience since there's a majority of teens on social media.
The reason I made these the way I did, as far as colors, spacing, and the design as a whole goes is that one, I wanted to grab the audience's attention, and two, I wanted every design to match the theme of a fishing restaurant.
Most of the principles of the elements of design are met in these items. For example, in the logo, there isn't much going on (simplicity), there are only 3 colors and 1 font used and they get along quite well (consistency), and last but not least the focal point is very clear solely because there aren't too many details (focus). Other elements of design are also used a lot not only in the logo but in the rest of the designs as well.
Out of everything I've created I believe the social media post is the most effective one. Not necessarily because it's the best design-wise but rather because social media is the best way to market any business in today's world and if your content is relative to what the "trend" is while being unique your business will be quite successful.
