What's ZDW?
ZooDiversity Web (ZDW) is a search and access website that provides an attractive and easy-to-use internet search engine and showcase for scientific papers published since 1984 in the English-language journal of the Zoological Society of Japan (Zoological Science). These papers include over 4,000 peer-reviewed articles on a great diversity of over 13,000 different species of animals.

Benefits of “sign in” Members of the Zoological Society of Japan (ZSJ) can sign in using their member ID and password, and will have access to all issues of Zoological Science in their search results. Volumes 1–21 (1984–2004) are available as Open Access publications.

Furthermore, all articles published in Zoological Magazine (1888 – 1983) and Annotationes Zoologicae Japonenses (1897 – 1983) are available as Open Access publications. You can select the journal in the drawer of "Journals" in the menu bar and download any articles from the journal archives.
