When I was working on Samuel's social media account, we needed a way to boost engagement. I came up with the idea of "gamifying" our posts to provide people with a reason to comment. The game was simple, guess the weight of the fish and who ever gets the closest wins! We went from averaging around 40 likes and 1-2 comments per post, up to 139 likes and 50 comments on the biggest posts. Please note: Due to the unpredictable nature of the fish industry, and as a result, the manpower needs of the company, job duties tended to change somewhat day by day. As a result, not all of the posts in these campaigns are necessarily written by my, but I was involved in the process of making all of them.
