In 2006, a group of O'Sensei Kim's senior students reformed the Butoku-Kai International into Kokusai Butokukai (both mean "International Martial Virues Association"). These students included Meijin Jean Chalamon of France, Hanshi Louis Jemison of the U.S., Hanshi Rod Sanford of the U.S., Kyoshi Stephan Peitz of Germany, and Kyoshi Jean-Michel Argant of France. The Kokusai Butokukai represents France, Germany, Spain, Finland, Scotland, Poland, United States and Canada.
