All content you create or save using the App — including files, photos, videos, documents, notes, passwords, and contacts — remains stored locally on your own device in an encrypted format. We do not upload, transmit, or have any direct access to your private data.

2. Permissions We Use & Specific Features

The App requests specific permissions solely to deliver its core privacy and utility features:

- Local Intruder Selfie Protection (CAMERA Permission):

Our application uses the device camera solely for local security purposes to capture an 'Intruder Selfie' when an incorrect PIN passcode is entered. All captured intruder photos remain strictly encrypted inside your local device storage. They are never uploaded, shared, or transmitted to any external servers or third parties.

- Storage & All Files Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE):

Used to import photos, videos, and documents that you select into the App's secure Vault storage, and to manage or permanently remove them from their original locations upon your request.

- Google Drive Cloud Sync & OAuth Scopes (DRIVE_APPDATA, DRIVE_FILE):

Optional Cloud Backup uses Google OAuth to allow users to back up and restore their encrypted vault files to their personal Google Drive account (appDataFolder). No user credentials, tokens, or vault files are accessed by or shared with us or any external server.

- Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Local File Transfer (Nearby Connections):

P2P transfer capabilities utilize Google Nearby Connections (Bluetooth / Wi-Fi Direct) to facilitate direct, encrypted file transfers between nearby devices. No internet servers or external intermediate nodes are involved in data transfers.

- Biometric Security & Fingerprint Access:

Biometric authentication utilizes the standard Android system BiometricPrompt framework locally on your device. The application does not collect, process, or store raw biometric templates or fingerprint data.

- Local Decoy Workspace & Storage Isolation:

Decoy workspace mode operates as an isolated local environment on your device. All decoy data is stored separately from primary vault records.

- Contacts Access:

Allows you to save and manage private contact entries locally within the App, if you choose to use this feature.

3. Advertising & Data Privacy (Google AdMob)

We utilize Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements to non-premium users when an internet connection is available.

AdMob may collect anonymous technical identifiers (such as device advertising IDs, coarse location, and app interaction data) for ad delivery, analytics, and frequency capping in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. 4. Data Security & User Control

Since all primary vault data is stored and encrypted locally on your device, you retain 100% ownership and control over your files. You are responsible for maintaining your device security, master PIN, and decoy PINs.

5. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction).

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates or legal compliance changes. Any updates will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
