I am a Fellow at the Barcelona Institute for International Studies (IBEI) and a non-resident research fellow at Ohio State, Political Science. In 2024-2025, I was a Research Fellow at the Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance, Princeton University. Previously, I was a Research Fellow at Warwick Business School, UK, and also worked as a consultant with the UNCTAD's Division on Investment and Enterprise in Geneva.
I received my PhD in Political Science from the Department of Political Science, McGill University. My PhD research was recognized by the UNCTAD & the Academy of International Business Award for Best Research on Investment and Development.
My research focuses on the international political economy of trade and global value chains (GVCs) with a particular focus on firms and development. My current projects focus on the micro analysis of supply chains, inequality in access to GVCs across countries, and the relation between FDI and climate change.
