If you want a compact, high-output cooling solution specifically engineered for JLG boom lifts and telehandlers to prevent overheating in tight industrial bays, choose Zarklenu 4; if you need a massive, heavy-duty replacement unit for Mack mid-liners spanning decades of diesel models, choose Xoslmon Aluminum Radiator. This isn't a debate about which brand is "better" in the abstract; it is a decision based entirely on whether your machine sits on a construction site moving concrete or hauls freight across the highway.
The Zarklenu 4 is built for precision and density, while the Xoslmon is built for sheer volume and durability under constant load. If you are gearing up for a long day at the tailgate with a large generator or power tools, the specific application matters more than general specs. You cannot swap these parts. One fits a scissor lift, the other fits a Mack truck. Getting this wrong means downtime that costs far more than the part itself.
• Zarklenu 4: Its biggest strength is the dense 4-row racing design that offers superior heat transfer in a relatively small footprint, but its trade-off is strict compatibility limited only to specific JLG equipment models.
• Xoslmon Aluminum Radiator: Its biggest strength is its massive core size and robust build designed for heavy-duty Mack diesel engines over nearly two decades, but its trade-off is the sheer physical dimensions that make it unsuitable for anything smaller than a mid-liner truck.
• Who should buy Zarklenu 4: Operators of JLG Boom Scissor Lifts and Telehandlers who need a direct-fit upgrade to stop engine failure during intense industrial cycles.
• Who should buy Xoslmon: Fleet managers and owners of 1985–2005 Mack trucks (CH, CX, FDM, MR, R, RD) needing a leak-tested, no-drill replacement for aging OEM units.
The Zarklenu 4 is not a generic radiator; it is a specialized tool for the JLG ecosystem. When you look at the specifications, the engineering intent becomes clear immediately. This unit features a 4-row high-performance core, which is an extra-thick tube racing design. In the world of industrial machinery, this translates to maximum cooling capacity where space is often at a premium. The core size is listed as 23.5 inches in height by 24.49 inches in width, fitting within an overall package of roughly 29.41 by 25.75 inches. This density allows it to handle the thermal loads of boom lifts and scissor lifts without taking up excessive room in the chassis.
The material choice here is critical. Constructed from high-strength aluminum, this radiator provides at least 40% better cooling efficiency than standard stock units. For anyone running JLG equipment in demanding environments—whether that is a factory floor, an agricultural setting, or a construction site—the difference between a standard unit and this 4-row design can mean the difference between a full shift of work and an emergency shutdown due to overheating. The inlet and outlet measurements (1.73 inches and 2.17 inches respectively) are precise, ensuring that the coolant flow matches the pump output of these specific machines.

This product is for the operator who values uptime above all else. It is designed for a direct-fit replacement, meaning you should not need to drill holes or modify brackets. It includes a high-pressure radiator cap, which adds to the reliability factor. If you own a JLG Boom Lift, Scissor Lift, or Telehandler requiring part numbers JLGG943A, 0160020608, or 12303DOC, this is the unit you need. However, if you are looking for something to fit a passenger car, a standard pickup, or a different brand of heavy machinery, this is strictly off the table. It is a single-purpose tool built for a very specific job, and doing that job well is exactly what it does best.
On the other side of the aisle, we have the Xoslmon Aluminum Radiator, a beast designed for the American highway and heavy commercial transport. This unit is not trying to be compact; it is trying to be substantial. The core size alone tells the story: 39-9/16 inches in length by 29 inches in width. This is a massive surface area intended to dissipate heat from large displacement diesel engines. The engine displacements range from 6.2L all the way up to 16.4L, including L6, V6, and V8 configurations.
The construction philosophy here focuses on durability and ease of installation for fleet maintenance. The product is 100% leak tested and durability tested, which is a non-negotiable requirement for vehicles that spend thousands of hours on the road. The design utilizes a tube and fin structure that dramatically increases surface area, allowing heat to dissipate more efficiently. Because it is made of lightweight yet high-heat-transferring aluminum, it helps manage the weight of the vehicle while still handling the thermal stress of a heavy diesel engine.
For the owner of a Mack truck, the appeal lies in the "no drilling or modifications needed" aspect. These older trucks often require parts that fit perfectly to avoid compromising the frame or cooling system integrity. The Xoslmon addresses this by matching OE/OEM part numbers like 1103596 and various 2MF series codes. If you are maintaining a fleet of these specific Mack models, this radiator is the logical path forward. It is not for light-duty use. It is for the heavy hauler who needs to keep a 14-liter diesel engine cool under the most punishing conditions. If your machine is not a Mack Mid-Liner from that specific era, this unit will simply not fit.
When you strip away the marketing language and look at the raw data, the decision matrix becomes very simple. You are choosing between a component for a mobile aerial platform and a component for a heavy-duty truck. Here is how the needs map to the products:
• Best for JLG Equipment Compatibility → Zarklenu 4: Only this unit lists specific compatibility with JLG Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts, and Telehandlers with part numbers JLGG943A and 0160020608.
• Best for Mack Truck Replacement → Xoslmon Aluminum Radiator: This is the only option designed for the 1985–2005 Mack CH, CX, FDM, MR, R, RD, and CS200P lines.
• Best Cooling Density per Volume → Zarklenu 4: With a 4-row racing design and a core size of roughly 23.5 x 24.5 inches, it packs significant cooling power into a smaller envelope.
• Best Surface Area for Large Engines → Xoslmon Aluminum Radiator: At nearly 40 inches long and 29 inches wide, it offers the massive surface area required for 14+ liter diesel engines.
• Best for Direct Fit on Industrial Lifts → Zarklenu 4: Designed to minimize downtime on JLG machines with a high-pressure cap included.
• Best for Heavy-Duty Truck Durability → Xoslmon Aluminum Radiator: Built with 100% leak testing and durability testing for long-haul trucking applications.
• Best for Agricultural/Factory Machinery → Zarklenu 4: Explicitly noted as ideal for stable, easy-to-clean performance in these specific environments.
• Best for Highway Transport → Xoslmon Aluminum Radiator: Engineered to prevent premature engine failure in large diesel trucks used for commercial hauling.
In my opinion, if you are running a JLG lift on a job site, the Zarklenu 4 is the only rational choice because its 4-row design directly addresses the overheating risks of boom lifts in confined spaces. Conversely, if you are maintaining a Mack truck, the Xoslmon is the clear winner due to its massive core size and proven compatibility with those specific heavy-duty diesel engines. I would never suggest using the Zarklenu on a truck or the Xoslmon on a lift; they serve completely different mechanical ecosystems. For tailgating scenarios involving heavy machinery, picking the right unit ensures your power source doesn't shut down when you need it most. Stick to the data, match the part number, and your machine will run cooler and longer.
No, the product information states that there is no drilling or modifications needed for installation, making it a direct replacement for specified Mack models.
The Xoslmon Aluminum Radiator is designed with a massive core (39-9/16" L x 29" W) and tube-and-fin design specifically to handle the heat output of large Mack diesel engines ranging from 6.2L to 16.4L.
While the description mentions it is ideal for agricultural and factory machinery, its technical specifications and fitment are explicitly tied to JLG part numbers, so it is not a universal agricultural radiator.
