Zane and Lukyan are brothers if the last name wasn't enough to go off of. They are the eldest two of their brothers. The three following them are Stefan, Sergei and Damian. Ages fifteen and eight as Stefan and Sergei are twins. They are often referred to as the twins when mentioned in conversation, but aren't defined to the term.
Zane is, of course, the eldest of the five. He has been more of a parental figure to them rather than a brother as he sacrificed his childhood to raise them. They are one of his main priorities and he puts them above all else.
Lukyan wasn't really forced into the role Zane had of playing parent, but did have to help with his brothers from time to time. Especially with emotionally absent parents who only really focused on him as he was technically the first biological son when they began to dote on him.
Stefan, Sergei and Damian may be mentioned from time to time, but they won't be discussed too much when it comes to yume content.
Pierce and Shaiming are some of the oldest living adepti who have been around longer than Rex Lapis' existence. They have seen each other at their bests and worsts. Through thick and thin. They trust each other with their lives and will come help them if the other ever needs.
Shaiming is the older of the two, but surprisingly looks younger than Pierce. It's amusing when people are told that and force them to do a double take.
The two were once lovers, something that was hardly a secret. And Rex Lapis was not so secretly apart of that once gentle romance. Unfortunately, due to the Archon War, the time they once had was split off and caused them to focus on the protection of guarding civilians or partaking in the fights. And once the war did eventually come to the end and the Seven came to be, Pierce found he had no purpose in Liyue and, as torn as he, Shaiming and Rex Lapis were, found that is was best they do what was in all of their best interests.
While they may no longer be lovers, they are still close and are in a QPR, keeping in regular contact with one another.
Lucia and the Petrovna Brothers are, surprisingly, related by blood. It's not exactly shown with how they react with one another, but their interactions have been very few and far between for a while.
Zane and Lucia are very close in age and have always been in competition with each other. Who was the best at this, who was the best at that, who was going to inherit what. They were once decently close as kids and would often see each other at big family events. But as they grew older and Zane found more of himself, they started to grow resentful of one another. They wanted to prove themselves and be better than the other. Lucia never saw reason to pick a fight with the other four though as they were much younger than she was and they weren't as close.
After the three years that occurred in Snezhnaya post Crepus' death, they didn't have much communication with one another due to the strain both sides endured. Familial events stopped and they didn't set aside time to try and discuss everything like civil adults.
(But that all changed when the fire nation attacked /ref)
When news of Lucia's betrothal/arrangement to the head of the Kamisato Clan come to Snezhnaya, years of distance were brought to Zane and after much debate, he went to the ceremony. And, much to his surprise, Lucia wanted to possibly fix the rocky relationship between them and try and communicate more. And possibly create ties between the Yashiro Commission and the Fatui. An idea that was granted.
Pierce had been called to Khaenri'ah when it was in the stages of it starting to fall. He was one of the many who witnessed the fall and destruction of it and was unable to do anything for the citizens that were taken by it. He mourned those who passed and had to sit in silence as he heard the cries of them. The agony of the flames scorching them alive and ripping apart their bodies. The lives he could not save and the pain he had to hear above the cracking and roaring flames.
As the flames eventually faded after they had burned with hatred and pain for the Gods, Heavens and the Principles the world was to abide by, he found himself on the grounds, looking for any who may have survived in some sort of hope he could help them. That he might give them some sort of second chance if the cruelty had not taken them. Call it what you wish, but he was quick to find a form that barely had the strength to move and yet was alive and breathing.
Insanity, guilt, grief, he doesn't remember what it was, but in that moment, he found Kysna. She was injured and could barely move at the time she was found. And Pierce helped her as best she could and freed her from the suffocation of Khaenri'ah's fall and brought her to Mondstadt where she could rest and heal. He regrets that he stopped and only helped her. He truly wishes he had gone and saved more lives.
Kysna was unsure of what to think of Pierce saving her at first, but did see it as some sort of joke. Why must she be one of the people from her nation to live? Why was she spared? And she was forced to sit with the guilt of surviving until she found the strength to do what she could and leave Mondstadt. She is grateful of Pierce for saving her, but had once hated him for his actions.
