1. Introduction
ZapTH ('we', 'our', or 'us') is committed to protecting your privacy in compliance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS application.
2. Information We Collect
Location Data: With your permission, we access your device's location to show nearby EV charging stations and improve search accuracy.
Community Data: When you submit station reports, check-ins, reviews, or suggestions, this information is sent to our servers (hosted on Supabase) along with an anonymous device identifier. We do not collect your name, email, or phone number unless you provide them voluntarily.
Favorites & Preferences: Your saved favorites, vehicle profiles, and app settings are stored locally on your device.
Device Information: Station reports include an anonymous device identifier to prevent spam. We do not collect device model, OS version, or other hardware information.
3. How We Use Your Information
Location data is used to display nearby charging stations and calculate distances.
Community contributions (reports, check-ins, reviews) are used to improve station data accuracy for all users.
Anonymous device identifiers are used solely to prevent duplicate submissions.
We do not sell, trade, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
ZapTH uses the following third-party services:
Open Charge Map API (openchargemap.org) — Station data. Requests may be logged by OCM.
TomTom Search API — Additional station data. Subject to TomTom's privacy policy.
Apple MapKit — Map display and navigation.
Supabase — Cloud database for community reports and suggestions. Data is stored in Supabase-managed infrastructure.

5. Data Storage & Security
Most app data (favorites, vehicle profiles, settings, check-ins, reviews) is stored locally on your device. Community reports and station suggestions are transmitted to and stored on our Supabase-hosted backend. All network communication uses HTTPS encryption. We retain community data only as long as necessary to maintain station accuracy.
6. Children's Privacy
ZapTH is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Your Rights (PDPA)
Under Thailand's PDPA, you have the right to:
Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data.
Withdrawal: Withdraw consent at any time.
You can revoke location permission in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > ZapTH.
You can clear all local data within the app via Settings > Reset All.
To request deletion of server-stored data, contact us at the email below.
