Thank you for using Milk Tracker ("the App"), developed by Zaheen ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Android mobile application. Please read this policy carefully.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
The App allows you to track milk delivery records, including:
• Daily milk delivery quantities (litres)
• Per-day litre override values
• Delivery schedules and logs
• Custom settings and preferences
All data you enter is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
The App does not automatically collect personal information. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.
The App may request the following device permissions:
• Storage / Internal Storage: To save and retrieve your milk delivery records locally on your device.
• Notifications / Alarms: To send reminders for scheduled deliveries (if enabled by you).
• Background Processing: To run WorkManager tasks for scheduled reminders and data backup.
We use the information stored on your device solely to:
• Display your milk delivery history and statistics within the App
• Calculate totals, averages, and delivery summaries
• Send local notifications for delivery reminders (if enabled)
• Maintain your preferences and app settings across sessions
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.
All data entered into the Milk Tracker App is stored locally on your Android device using Room Database (SQLite). Your data is:
• Never transmitted to external servers or the internet
• Never shared with third parties
• Stored only on your device and accessible only through the App
While we implement standard local storage best practices, please note that the security of data stored on your device also depends on your device's own security settings (e.g., screen lock, encryption).
The App does not currently integrate with third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or data collection services.
If future versions of the App include third-party integrations (such as Google AdMob for ads or Firebase Analytics), this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly, and users will be notified.
The Milk Tracker App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information through the App, please contact us so we can address the matter.
Your milk delivery records and preferences are retained locally on your device for as long as you use the App. You can delete your data at any time by:
• Clearing the App's data through Android Settings > Apps > Milk Tracker > Clear Data
• Uninstalling the App from your device
Upon uninstallation, all locally stored data will be permanently removed from your device.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your information. You have the right to:
• Access all data you have entered into the App
• Modify or delete any records at any time within the App
• Export your data (if supported in the current version)
• Completely remove all data by uninstalling the App
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated effective date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
Continued use of the App after any changes to this Privacy Policy will constitute your acknowledgment of the changes and your consent to abide by the updated terms.
