ZAMPLIFY

our mission

Bridge the economic inaccessibility to tertiary education.

Connections and socio-economic backgrounds should never determine a student's ability to find something they love to do and hone that passion.

Let's amplify the potential of Gen-Z together.

BACKGROUND

As the college admissions process is getting more and more competitive, students everywhere are tasked with the seemingly impossible task of becoming changemakers.

One summer program, fellowship, internship, or volunteering experience could be the single formative experience that shapes an entire generation of students. However, for students that come from marginalized backgrounds, having the resources or connections to learn about many programs and opportunities is especially difficult.

With only so many things that one can do in high school, students lack a comprehensive, streamlined platform that gives verified firsthand peer reviews to evaluate these extensive opportunities- that's where ZAMPLIFY comes in.

THE ISSUE

DIVERSITY = LACKING

"Even after decades of affirmative action, black and Hispanic students are more underrepresented at the nation’s top colleges and universities than they were 35 years ago."

-New York Times

EXTRACURRICULARS

In 79.3 of admissions decisions, extracurricular activities played a role of considerable importance, moderate importance, or limited importance.

-NACAC Admission Trends Survey, 2017–2018.

DEGREE = EMPOWER

"College graduates with a bachelor’s degree typically earn 66 percent more than those with only a high school diploma; and are also far less likely to face unemployment."

-US Department of Education
