Inclusion

Given the vast and multifaceted nature of scientific research, a plethora of perspectives and skillsets are necessary to solve scientific problems. Therefore, diversity is critical to scientific success as it increases creativity and supports problem solving. Fostering diversity requires creating an equitable and inclusive environment where everybody feels welcome to participate. It is my mission to foster such an environment by providing every individual with the proper support and resources they need to be successful, regardless of their race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or socioeconomic status.
