Hi! My name is Zaile.

I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Healthcare Management Initiative at INSEAD, working with Prof. Stephen E. Chick and Prof. Shane G. Henderson. I obtained my PhD in Management Science from Fudan University, under the supervision of Prof. L. Jeff Hong. 

My recent research focuses on healthcare management, with a particular interest in improving the health innovation pipeline through adaptive clinical trial design, value-based pricing, and portfolio operations. Methodologically, I work on stochastic simulation, simulation optimization, and sequential learning. I am also exploring the use of modern AI tools, such as large language models, in these areas.
