Hi! My name is Zaile.

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering and Management at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Before joining NUS, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Healthcare Management Initiative at INSEAD. 

My recent research focuses on healthcare management, with a particular interest in improving the health innovation pipeline through adaptive clinical trial design, value-based pricing, and portfolio operations. Methodologically, I work on stochastic simulation, simulation optimization, and sequential learning. I am also exploring the use of modern AI tools, such as large language models, in these areas.
