Hi! My name is Zaile.

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering and Management at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Before joining NUS, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Healthcare Management Initiative at INSEAD. 

My recent research focuses on healthcare management. Methodologically, I work on sequential learning, stochastic simulation and optimization,  and data-driven decision-making. I am also exploring the use of modern AI tools, such as large language models, in these areas.
