Expert Advisor (EA) Installation Guide for MetaTrader 5 (MT5)

Hello, and thank you for choosing our EA. Please follow the steps below to install and activate the EA on your trading account.

Prerequisites:

• The downloaded EA file (with an .ex5 extension).

• The MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform installed on your computer, with you successfully logged into your DEMO account.

Step 1: Open the MT5 Data Folder

This is the most crucial step to locate the correct directory for your EA file.

1. Open your MT5 platform.

2. From the top menu, click on File.

3. Select the Open Data Folder menu item.

4. A new folder window will open, which contains all of MT5's data. Keep this window open.

Step 2: Place the EA File into the "Experts" Folder

1. In the Data Folder window that just opened, double-click on the folder named MQL5.

2. Next, double-click on the folder named Experts.

3. You are now in the correct location (...MQL5\Experts).

4. Copy or Drag the EA file (.ex5) that you downloaded and place it into this folder.

Step 3: Refresh the EA List in MT5

This step makes your newly added EA visible within the platform.

1. Return to your MT5 platform.

2. Look for the Navigator window, which is usually on the left side. (If you don't see it, go to the View menu > Navigator or press Ctrl+N).

3. In the Navigator window, find the Expert Advisors section.

4. Right-click on the "Expert Advisors" heading and select Refresh.

5. You will now see your EA's name appear under this section.

Step 4: Attach the EA to a Chart

1. Open the chart of the currency pair and timeframe where you want the EA to run (e.g., XAUUSD, M5).

2. From the Navigator window, click and hold your EA's name, then drag and drop it onto the chart.

3. An EA settings pop-up window will appear.

Step 5: Configure the EA Settings Correctly

In the pop-up window, there are two very important tabs:

1. "Common" Tab:

• Ensure that the box next to "Allow Algo Trading" is checked.

2. "Inputs" Tab:

• In this tab, you can adjust the various operating parameters of the EA, such as CapitalPerTotal_L_Lot, S_Grid_Distance_Dollars, etc.

• (Recommended) If the developer provided a preset file (.set), click the Load button and select that file for convenience and accuracy.

Once you have finished configuring the settings, click the OK button.

Step 6: Enable Algo Trading Globally

This button acts as the master switch for all EAs on the platform.

1. Look for the "Algo Trading" button in the main toolbar at the top.

2. Ensure this button is GREEN (displaying a Play-like symbol ▶️).

3. If it is red, click it once to enable it.

Final Step: Verify Operation

Once everything has been done correctly, look at the top-right corner of the chart.

• Success: You will see a green hat icon 🎓 (or a smiling face 😊) along with the EA's name.

• Failure: The icon will be grey or show a square symbol ⏹️.

You can view the operational status and logs in the "Experts" tab of the Terminal window at the bottom of the platform (press Ctrl+T to open/close it).
