• Developed a sample holder to house parts during environmental stress testing, used SolidWorks to design the endplates, cut them from acrylic sheets using a laser cutter, put together a bill of materials for production, then organized an assembly line and completed fabrication of the holders while writing assembly instructions for future builds
• Prototyped a spectroscopy probe holder in SolidWorks and 3D printed variations until the final design was printed and used upon a short working deadline
• Contributed to the assembly of instrumentation used for electrooptical testing including 3D printing components, putting together sub-assemblies, and connecting plumbing lines
• Supported the Analytical Technology group in an electrooptical lab by organizing and performing experiments for a number of projects with an emphasis on repeatability and turnaround time
• Implemented a variety of testing methods including electrooptical, peel adhesion, and tap/abrasion as well as data validation of the results for customers
• Performed peel adhesion experiments on an Instron that needed to be configured and operated according to the specific experiment's objective
• Organized environmental stress testing and maintained environmental chambers by regulating their desired temperature and humidity
