Bio:

Zach Wade’s work, blends sculptural elements with different material properties of functional objects and spatial presence. Influenced early in life by the Arts and Craft Movement, Russian Constructivism and Pop Art drawing comparisons between El Lizzitsky, Vladimir Tatilin, William Morris and Jeff Koons. Wade purposely highlights function and exaggerated decoration in his scenes mixing different technology, material, hand crafted elements. These elements, as well as his suggestive compositions, hint at an American art and craft culture. Wade received a BFA in Animation from the Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, Maryland in 2011. He is also a Design and Fabrication Specialist with an extensive background in 3D printing and CNC processes.
