Hello,
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Tel Aviv University, where I also lead the Advanced Communication Center. I received my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University and spent a few wonderful years as a researcher at Caltech and the University of Maryland, College Park, before joining Tel Aviv University.
My work addresses critical challenges with direct societal impact, focusing on areas such as distributed storage, DNA storage, coded computation, codes for memory devices, quantum coding, post-quantum cryptography, and private information retrieval.
My research is supported by competitive grants, including the ERC Starting Grant and has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the IEEE Communication Society Data Storage Technical Committee Best Paper Award, the IEEE Information Theory Society Paper Award, and the Krill Prize.
