Hello,
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Tel Aviv University, where I also lead the Advanced Communication Center.
My research focuses on the theoretical foundations of reliable, efficient, and private infrastructure for large-scale AI and quantum computing. I leverage tools from coding and information theory to address critical bottlenecks in distributed machine learning and storage, design privacy-preserving data access protocols, and extend these principles to construct robust codes for the next generation of quantum devices.
My research is supported by competitive grants, including the ERC Starting Grant, and has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the IEEE Communication Society Data Storage Technical Committee Best Paper Award, the IEEE Information Theory Society Paper Award, and the Krill Prize.
