Zachary Rodriguez

I am an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department at Union College. I study topics in applied microeconomics, with specific interests in the fields of development and health economics, and casual interests in the fields of sports economics, religion and culture, and law and economics. 

Also, I am co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Embrace It Africa (EIA), a nonprofit organization working to encourage sustainable community growth in southern Uganda. Since 2008, EIA programs have worked to affect issues of poverty, health insecurity and access to education through a government-registered microfinance institution, outpatient healthcare clinic, and student sponsorship program.
