Zachary Rodriguez

I am an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department at Union College. I study topics in applied microeconomics, with specific interests in the fields of development and health economics, and growing interests in the fields of sports economics and religion and culture.

Also, I am co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Embrace It Africa (EIA), a nonprofit organization working to encourage sustainable community growth in southern Uganda. Since 2008, EIA programs have worked to affect issues of poverty, health insecurity and access to education through a government-registered microfinance institution, outpatient healthcare clinic, and student sponsorship program.
