Below is the presentation I gave for my final in my Senior Seminar. I gave this presentation to around fifteen students, three professors, and other professionals associated with the department my major is offered by.
In Environmental Justice, I was tasked with producing a website that would record an exhibition that was created in the classroom. My peers and I worked to identify trash that we found in our daily lives. After identifying a piece of trash of interest, we researched the chemistry of the materials at great length, reflecting the depth of knowledge that exists about a small piece of forgotten commodity
In the Hydrology class, we used Excel to create models representing the Hydraulic Gradient within a section of the earth. However, I have used Excel for various projects. This one is most applicable to what I study in class.
The line representing the hydraulic gradient with infiltration represents how water infiltration in the ground affects the hydraulic gradient.
I was asked to make a children's book reflecting our class content in my deconstructing difference course. This book was the final project of the class.
I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create the images on the pages. This project is noteworthy because it demonstrates my ability to use Illustrator and Photoshop for things I would not necessary be doing in other classes.
