Sports Broadcaster
My name is Zac Grant, and I am a graduate of the University of Central Florida with extensive experience in sports broadcasting and operations across baseball, hockey, and basketball. My journey began in high school when I was given the opportunity to call summer collegiate baseball for the Peninsula Pilots during their run to the Petit Cup Playoffs. The following season, I launched the Builder Broadcast Program at the Apprentice School, further developing my play-by-play voice and production leadership.
After relocating to Florida, hockey became a new passion, with my voice carrying UCF Hockey broadcasts while I gained professional experience with the ECHL’s Atlanta Gladiators. Today, I serve as Director of Broadcasting and Communications for the Shreveport Mudbugs of the North American Hockey League, where I built and expanded a comprehensive media and broadcast operation from the ground up.
From championship runs to program-building moments, my career has been shaped by storytelling, preparation, and a commitment to bringing each game to life for listeners. On this site, you’ll find broadcast samples and writing clips that reflect that journey. Thank you for visiting, and I look forward to telling many more stories.
