Zachary was our middle child sandwiched between his older sister, Gabriella, and his younger sister, Sophia. As such, he was the bridge between his sisters and kept the balance in our household. His sharp sense of humor always made things interesting in our home. His quick smile would light up a room.

Our son Zachary was an excellent student throughout his life. Even more important, he was a very caring young man who was able and willing to help others. His generous nature allowed him to touch so many people he encountered in his short time with us. We will always remember how he knew all about the latest technology, current events, or politics and was very willing to share his knowledge with others. If one of our neighbors had trouble with their computer or phone, Zach would drop everything to help them. It was very heartwarming to learn from his friends that he would also extend his hand of friendship whenever they needed his help.
Our son Zachary was an excellent student throughout his life. Even more important, he was a very caring young man who was able and willing to help others. His generous nature allowed him to touch so many people he encountered in his short time with us. We will always remember how he knew all about the latest technology, current events, or politics and was very willing to share his knowledge with others. If one of our neighbors had trouble with their computer or phone, Zach would drop everything to help them. It was very heartwarming to learn from his friends that he would also extend his hand of friendship whenever they needed his help.
He was a dedicated Boy Scout who wanted to do his Eagle Scout Project at his high school, St. Mary’s. Through his fundraising efforts, food drive initiatives, and community service projects, he embodied what it means to be an Eagle Scout. One of the most memorable compliments we received was when one of the scout parents told us that Zach was the nicest of the older scouts to her son, who was new to scouting.

With his hard work ethic and commitment to excellence, he would have excelled in any field that he chose to enter. However, we believe that any path he would have chosen would have included a strong desire to serve others.
