Changes from 2012 to 2017
The ANSI Z133-2017 underwent substantial restructuring and rewording. To assist in updating of manuals and training, ISA has put together the above guide to help find equivalent updates between the 2012 and 2017 standard versions.
Not all statements have a one-for-one equivalent, or in many cases, statements were changed so substantially, it can be considered New to the standard. This document has not been reviewed for technical accuracy. It is possible that a section has been described as "Omitted," that it has actually been moved to a different section of the document, or was substantially Reworded. When editing safety manuals and training, please review New standard statements to ensure accuracy. If errors are found, please contact z133@isa-arbor.com so updates can be made to this document.
