The board is very durable and interactive even though it is a softboard. The board needs a projector to work. You can either write with your finger or the pen and the tray will know which is being used.

Creating an interactive exercise using the activity tool kit will help you use engagement in the classroom. You can find this on the gallery tab which is divided into many folders that have examples and templates that are easy to use and view.
Use the shapes from the tool bar to do a hide and reveal activity on Smart Notebook. Filling in the color in the shape makes it easier to hide the answers.
