Welcome to my new homepage! I am a professor and the Department Chair of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at City University of New York (CUNY)'s City College (CCNY). My research focuses on satellite remote sensing of clouds and convection, and use of satellite observations for studying convective dynamics. I also participate in airborne field campaigns flying in and around convective storms to study convective transport of trace gases.  

At CUNY, I teach both undergraduate and graduate classes in Atmospheric Sciences, satellite remote sensing, and statistical analysis in Earth Sciences.
