I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Decisions, Operations and Technology, CUHK Business School, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
My primary research involves developing models and designing algorithms for analytics under uncertainty with different levels of data availability as well as applications in business, economics, finance, and operations. I am also interested in how to compete or cooperate in joint activities such as resource allocation and risk management.
During June 2019-June 2023, I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Sciences, College of Business, City University of Hong Kong. I was a Research Associate in the Area of Analytics & Operations, Imperial College Business School, with a wonderful period (Feb 2018-June 2019) under the supervision of Wolfram Wiesemann. I was a Research Engineer in the team of William Haskell from Jul 2017-Feb 2018. Advised by Melvyn Sim and Huan Xu, I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Analytics & Operations, National University of Singapore (NUS). Prior to joining NUS, I earned my B.Eng. from Tsinghua University, China.

In Hong Kong, we closely collaborate with Clint Ho (City University of Hong Kong) and Man-Chung Yue (The University of Hong Kong) on data science for analytics and operations!
Postdoc positions in the area of analytics and operations are available. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in a related discipline and a proven research record. The starting date and length of the contract are flexible.
I am looking for self-motivated Ph.D. students who are interested in the field of analytics under uncertainty, with possible applications in operations management, revenue management, and risk management.
