I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Decisions, Operations and Technology, CUHK Business School, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
My research involves developing models and designing algorithms for analytics under uncertainty with different levels of data availability, as well as applications in business, economics, finance, and operations. I am also interested in the interface between AI and analytics, as well as in designing information, markets, and mechanisms to manage revenue and risk.
During June 2019-June 2023, I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Sciences, College of Business, City University of Hong Kong. I was a Research Associate in the Area of Analytics & Operations, Imperial College Business School, with a wonderful period (Feb 2018-June 2019) under the supervision of Wolfram Wiesemann. I was a Research Engineer in the team of William Haskell from Jul 2017-Feb 2018. Advised by Melvyn Sim and Huan Xu, I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Analytics & Operations, National University of Singapore (NUS). Prior to joining NUS, I earned my B.Eng. from Tsinghua University, China.
