Calgary Workshop on Pronouns 2019

The University of Calgary's School of Languages, Linguistics, Literatures, and Cultures and Linguistics Division are hosting a workshop on pronouns.

The conference will take place at the University of Calgary on Fri-Sat, November 15-16, 2019 (8:30 am - 4:00 pm).

“This is the latest in a series of workshops on the syntax of nominal (and related) structures, rotating across Canada for the past 15 years.”


In partnership with the Calgary Public Library, we are also hosting a public lecture on singular "they" by Dr. Kirby Conrod entitled “Formalizing pronouns”. Admission is free. All are welcome. Below, you can find the event poster.

The public lecture will take place at the New Central Public Library, 800 3 St SE, (City Hall C-train station) on Thursday November 14th at 7:00pm.
