Stakeholder Surveys & Interviews

INTRODUCTION

This webpage summarizes key findings from stakeholder interviews and surveys conducted from Fall 2019 to Summer 2020 of agricultural, environmental/recreational and municipal/industrial water stakeholders in the Yampa river basin for the Basin Roundtable's Integrated Water Management Plan. The goals and objectives of the Stakeholder Outreach process for the Yampa IWMP are outlined in the Stakeholder Engagement Plan.

This short document provides a summary of what we heard from the stakeholder interviews and surveys

HOW TO NAVIGATE

Navigate through the summary using the green buttons below. Most pages' topics correspond to a BIP Goal, though there are a couple of new themes.

Each section is divided into common concerns, and opportunities for future work. Concerns highlighted were common in the interview results, or a stakeholder team member deemed them notable. Opportunities were identified either by the interviewees themselves or by the IWMP team members involved in the stakeholder data collection. It is not a complete list of opportunities.

You can see a full list of the identified opportunities on the Opportunities Summary page by clicking the last green button below. The Opportunities are numbered cumulatively throughout the document and then listed in one place on the Summary page.
