Volunteers will pull weeds around raised garden beds, clear out two of the existing garden beds, and till up the soil to make it fresh for planting.
Thursday, May 21st
6:30-7:30p, Staunton
Volunteers will look at photos of animals on the shelter's website and create various forms of art, using paint markers, watercolor, colored pencils, markers, stickers, gems, googly eyes, and more.
Thursday, May 21st
7:30-8:30p, Staunton
Volunteers will create google docs of images, print, and assemble coloring books for Project Grows to use during their summer camps and other programming.
Saturday, June 6
11:00a-3:00p (shifts available), Stuarts Draft
Volunteers will assist with the Blue Ridge Children's Museum's table by hosting activities such as bubbles, bracelet making, and more.
Sunday, June 7th
2:00-6:00pm (shifts available), Staunton
Volunteers from 2-4p will learn how to use power tools to cut and drill wood pieces together to build a dog stick library for Staunton's small dog park, and from 4-6p will paint colorful designs and seal the wooden structure for protection from the elements.
