Volunteers will assist the local Non-Profit "The Donation Station" with various tasks such as organizing donated items, sorting clothing by size, fixing damaged items, and more. 

Thursdays, September 3 & 17

5:00-6:00p, Waynesboro

Volunteers will help beautify a local Natural Playground by moving stones and logs, weeding, picking up trash, mulching, and more. 

Sunday, September 20th

10a-6p (shifts), Staunton

Volunteers will assist with either cleaning up the festival, or hosting a YVC table with free activities for both adults and children -- let us know on the sign up form what/when you are interested in volunteering!

Sunday, September 27th

2:00-3:00pm, Fishersville

Volunteers will clean up the accessible trail around Star Lake in Fishersville, including mostly trash and fishing lines. 

Tuesday, September 29th

6:30-7:30p, Staunton

Volunteers will learn about local animal shelters, look at their websites, and create art based off animal pictures. (phone/laptop required - bring your own, or let us know if you need to borrow one!)

Tuesday, September 29th

7:30-8:30p, Staunton

Volunteers will learn how to navigate the Zooniverse website, and will participate in a few history- and nature-themed volunteer opportunities such as Monkey Health Explorers, Indigo Snake Watch, Frog Find, and more.

Saturday, October 10

10:00a-12:00p, Staunton

Volunteers will help load books into trucks at Christ Lutheran Church in Staunton, then unload the books into the Gypsy Hill Gym. Dollies and carts will be used. Option to just load or unload; your own transportation is needed from the church to the gym. Pizza party at the end!

Wednesday, October 28

6:00-8:00p, Staunton

Volunteers will assist with the YVC table by handing out free things, greeting people, talking about your YVC experience, setting up/taking down the table, and/or overseeing the activity/game.
