About me
Hello, there! Welcome to my website.
My name is Yuyu Yang. Currently I'm a Ph.D. student at School of Infomation and Library Science, UNC.
My research interests lie in the combination of Multimedia Information Retrieval, Recommendation Systems, and Human Computer Interaction. I'm excited about applying information theories to analyze actual information systems.
Currently, my research work focuses on understanding how daily contexts influence peoples' interaction with music streaming services as well as music preferences, particularly how people's need for music diversity varies over time.
