I am interested in studying endangered languages in Indonesia.

I obtained a PhD in humanities from Leiden University, the Netherlands and my work focused on the historical reconstruction of Alorese, an Austronesian language in Alor, East Nusa Tenggara. I do language documentation, oral history, and comparative studies of dialects and languages.

I currently work in the Indonesian Education Department at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta in Indonesia.
